Looking for more walkthroughs? Check out our Island Help page! □ Who is watching? Episode 3: Distress SignalĪn abandoned radio tower is in sight - now, you’ve got to find a way to use it. Turns out it’s only one of multiple cameras on a big screen. Next, a cutscene will show a surveillance cam zooming out, hidden in the trees. Success! You’ve found food for yourself and have earned your Episode 2 Medallion! When a fish bites, press the space bar again to pull it up. Now use the worms from earlier, and press the space bar next to the river to drop a line. Return to the river with fish in it, and click “Use” on the second shoelace, combining it with the fishing pole. Now equip the fishing pole and press the space bar to drop it down, pulling up another Shoelace! Next, click “Use” on the hook to add that as well. Position yourself right next to the opening of the tree, then go to your inventory and click “Use” on the shoelace to add it to the fishing pole. Then go left and jump onto the highest branch of the tree with the shoe. When you reach the tree with the shoe stuck in it, jump up and grab the Shoelace! Jump on to float to the middle of the river. Depends how much fighting your players like - but I’d probably steer clear.Continue to the next area and grab the Fishing Pole from the top branch of the first tree. I feel like the cupboards in the cog of blood is also a bit too dull but that’s partly because an area immediately afterwards is the golden mastodon and that means EVEN MORE fighting. ![]() Level 5 - Somebody else addressed this already but I think the best solution to this entire level is a way to get the gears spinning nonstop. In my opinion cut the mirror or cover it up with a cloth so that you at least give players a chance to make a dumb decision themselves. By describing the object you’ve all but guaranteed that the players are already looking at it - and there’s no way they could anticipate this. I think the solution to the air cell is a little bit too obtuse and so I don’t think it’s fair, and I also think the punishment for the earth cell is so terrifyingly deadly that it probably benefit from some adjustments.Īrea 50 - Mirror of life trapping. Maybe a bearded demon face whose mouth you have to reach into to grab a switch. I love it, but I think there should maybe be a way out that Withers and the tomb dwarves know about. ![]() I would get rid of this entirely.Īrea 32 - Rotating crawlways. The chests do massive damage, so it might be good to have a mangled corpse inside one of them just to drive home how bad it is before anybody climbs in.Īrea 19 - Gravity ring. Even better is the potential for these gargoyles to chase players into the Bodak room.Īrea 8 is bad if you don’t foreshadow the magnet tugging at items a little more.Īrea 16 - Wongo’s Tomb. ![]() I likewise really like the four armed gargoyles at the bottom of the grand staircase because I’ve had the players encounter a single four-armed gargoyle already which absolutely shredded a player. To better answer your actual query, I feel that area 49 is super essential for an amazing tomb experience because Bodaks are terrifying and the way of escaping is so perfect. ![]()
